- Be a hero...GoPro, in HD
Developed for professional use, but at a consumer price, the HD Hero line of wearable cameras capture Full HD video rivaling cameras costing 10x the price. How? GoPro's team consists of some of the brightest minds in Silicon Valley who also happen to be obsessed with outdoor sports, race cars, and all things moto. Athletic super geeks? Indeed.
- Professional quality, Full HD video
1080p, 960p, and 720p in 30 and 60 fps (720p). The HD Hero line of cameras offers three different HD resolutions, giving you three filming modes to capture the best angles for any given activity:
- 5MP photos, automatically
HD Hero cameras can shoot hands-free, 5-megapixel photos automatically at 2/5/10/30/ and 60 second intervals until the batteries die or the SD card is full. Or set it to single shot, triple shot, or self timer for more traditional photo taking.
- Audio excellence
GoPro has invested more in the HD Hero camera's sound system than most companies spend on their entire camera development. You'll only be hearing the sounds of your sport, not the howl of the wind. How? Obsessive audio engineering and an understanding that good sound is as important as good video.
- Rechargeable Lithium-ion, built in battery warmer
The rechargeable 1100mAh Lithium-ion battery lasts for 2.5 hours of constant recording. It can be recharged to 80% capacity in just 2 hours when plugged into a computer's USB port, or in 1 hour when plugged into a USB compatible wall or car charger. Camera can also be used while charging...handy on road trips where it's fun to leave the camera rolling. Camera also features an integrated battery heating system for keeping your battery warm in winter activities.
- Shockproof, bombproof, waterproof to 180/60m
Don't let a little water, or even a ton of water get in the way of getting the shot. Proven in heavy surf from Hawaii to Tahiti, Southern Mexico to Northern California, HD Hero cameras can handle it thanks their highly engineered polycarbonate exoskeletal housing. Waterproof to 180/60m and tough enough to take a spin across the asphalt, GoPos are built to take a beating.

From highway pursuits to underwater missions, this HERO HD is for you!
A friend of mine recommended this camera after he used it to document results of his construction company, during use of explosives on road and large landscaping contracts. I work in a tactical world, from high speed pursuits to underwater recovery. Documenting these incidents and missions are crucial for liability protection, sucessful prosecution and debriefing / training. I have tested this product in a hot temperature desert and night time scuba environment. Although the market appears to have smaller helmet cameras, I recommend this company with it's proven design. A camera needs to be large enough to operate with gloves on in some operations / missions. The Hero camera has many options and accessories which should be considered and convince you to try this product.

Fine toy, you can use with no concerns, the only really problem its light.
The seller sold a nice camera in original package. The camera its good and its not so good. Size of image, ok, HD, but its not so nice, does not have a amazing white balance. The worst thing about her its that in the manual says its sensitive to light and its not. I have gone to caving, and I realized that its not so good. You have to read the manual, because she has only 2 buttons and several options, so its not so easy to use. She is very light, good point, even you have doubt if its not chinese camera. The battery really take a long time to run out, can record even more than the manual says. Almost full out my SD 32GIGAS before the battery ends. But for the price its a good option, you can put in the helmet and not worried so much, she can take some punchs. One good point she came with several acessories, since cables, to several supports to put in the car, bike and especcially helmet.Read full review

For price features and image quality , nothing beats a GOPRO
I have owned Video cameras since they came out in the 1970's. Made commercials and documentry films with them througout my career in advertising. The GOPRO was so small it shocked me. Yet it has features that my expensive 20 LB JVC will not do. I have put it on a fishing pole and videoed fish under a pier to a Time lapse feature that few cameras offer at a price that is affordable to anyone. Pro's I have mentioned it to shake thier head and comment on the HD quality, when National Geographic and ESPN Sports use them for programing then there is no better unless you want to pay thousands for an expensive Name brand.Yes it's small fragile and bit quirky with odd programing but it's the camera I now use first over all others I have at my dissposal.

Great product. Highly recommended!!
GOOD 1) video is excellent 2) sound is nearly exactly what you hear without the water proof case) 3) stills are good. 4) battery is long lasting. 5) the suction cup base has over 10hours on it at more than highway speeds and is still very solid. Points to be reviewed 1) the case, while very durable, the lens seems to scuff easily. But as they are not that expensive or hard to replace, ok. 2) night time shots are difficult, but street lamps are about as dim as it can go, and the video quality suffers. 3) it seems to auto adjust stills for exposure, so low light stills are tricky to time and need to be held steady, but other wise doable. OVERALL - GOOD

I will start off by saying this is a misleading "item"... It is not a 16MB... You have to purchase the memory card for this after you have the camera/camcorder. Other than that it is a good item, it does what it says that it will! You do have to do some reading to get it set up for use and it is a little difficult to understand what it is that you are "setting" up. Once the set up is done it's then shows you it's other weakness... it's battery life... it's not bad it's just not as long as I thought it would be. I bought this item to record my mountain bike rides so I could share these experiences with my family. This product does just what it says that it will do! I love this product and would purchase it again if I had to! It is very fun to use and fun to share my rides with others!
