Awesome. I named her Molly Mae (female voice)
I'm really impressed with my nuvi 1350. I purposly try to confuse it and so far I haven't been succesful. It's super fast when acquiring your position and equally fast when re-calulating if you stray from it's itenerary. The wide screen is (4.3 inch) very nice and the 2 and 3D display is awesome.
Some time ago I read a previous review that left the impression that there was no feature on the nuvi 1350 that would tell you which direction (N, S, E, W and in betweens)you were going while driving. Well..There Is! and that feature is available by touching the screen (on whatever is next to the back arrow)on the screen after you have selected a a destination and "GO". It will be on the lower left side of the screen. By touching what's next to the back arrow, it will give you the following choices:
1. Estimated Time Of Arrival
2. Distance to destination
3. Estimated Time To Destination
4. "DIRECTION OF TRAVEL"
6. Time of day
Just choose the one you prefer...then touch "OK" :-)
I am a 67 year old retired male, and have seen lots of changes in my life, but the Garmin (GPS) has to rate way up there on most useful and amazing technological inventions. LOTS OF KUDOS FROM ME...GO GARMIN!!!!Read full review

This is a great GPS. I bought it to replace of my old unit & found there is a huge difference between the two.
a) performance - performance to detect the satellite signal of 1350 is very good. It detects the signal within seconds as compared to my old one, which sometimes takes more than a minute.
b) design - it's slim, good looking and well built.
c) When you switch on/off the engine of the car, the unit will automatically switch on/off if you connect it to the car charger My old unit does not do that. The battery will drain if I forget to turn off the GPS,
d) The interface - It is simple and user friendly. Great functions and features.
Having said that, there are things about the unit that I dislike.
1. I am from Malaysia. I bought this GPS from eBay cause it is about USD120 cheaper than Malaysia. I l found out later, if I were to buy Garmin that is not the Malaysia version, it would have no Junction View feature. I found this absolutely absurd. Why the double standard? Who is Garmin trying to protect, the resellers who try to sell at a higher price or the consumer who is buying Garmin?
2. Malaysia, due to its enthusiastic mapper community we have produced some custom icons on the map. The icons will display logos of banks, restaurants, fuel stations, shops on the map as you travel. I found that is an exciting feature cause it provides a lot of details the location you are at. These custom icons were supported in the older version of Garmin e.g. 205, 255 or 255w, but was not available in 1350.
I think Garmin should overcome these shortcomings.Read full review

We bought a Garmin nuvi 1350 Car GPS Receiver and we are very happy with it. The Garmin is easy to use and we are completely satisfied with our purchase. You touch the screen and it reacts immediately.
We had a Magellan before and it was not very user friendly. There was no battery life so we could not bring it into the house to program in an address.

Highly Recommend! A++
I have absolutely NO complaints. This has been the best GPS I have purchased to date. I wish you could pull up written directions, but since it is so complete in every other portion, I give it 5 stars *****.
