At the end of this movie I was thinking to myself.... "Was It a one star or a two star? It wasn't horrendous enough to be one star, but it wasn't good enough to be two stars"
Then the final titles came up, with the cast singing a kiddie-pop version of "Insane in the brain" by Cypress Hill. That pushed me over the edge, it's a one... god this was a bad movie.
Brendan Frasier is a land developer who is supposed to be eco friendly, but wants to tear down the forest to make room for some new condos and a shopping mall, so the animals lead by a racoon and a posse of skunks (who fart out steam) lead an all out assault on him.
Let me say right away, if you are under 10, this is probably one of the greatest movies ever made. It has farting animals, people falling over and losing their pants, a crowd getting chased by cute animals and a man getting tossed around in a port-a-potty. Small kids will no doubt find this hilarious, however for the rest of us AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!Read full review

Not a funny as I expected it to be
Brendan Fraser is Dan Sanders, a real estate developer who has relocated along with his wife, Brooke Shields (Tammy Sanders) and his son, Matt Prokop (Tyler Sanders) to Oregon to build a housing development for his company. The company bills itself as an environmentally green housing company and the development is supposed to be cutting edge technology. The Sanders find out that the company is far from being 'green' and plan to cut down the entire forrest. The local animals get wind of the plan and take matters into their own hands and fight back against Dan and his company.
The movie was supposed to be very funny, and with Brendan Fraser in the lead roll I expected it to be much better than it actually was. There are some so so funny scenes, but most miss the mark. The animal animation is also a bit lacking.
The movie also stars: Angela Kinsey as Felder, Rob Riggle (uncredited) as Riggs, Skyler Samuels as Amber, Ricky Garcia as Frank, Ken Jeong as Neal Lyman, Jim Norton as Hank, Patrice O'Neal as Gus, Toby Huss as Wilson, Wallace Shawn as Dr. Christian Burr, Gerry Bednob as Mr. Gupta, and Samantha Bee as Principal Baker
I would rent this movie instead of purchasing it and save some money.Read full review
