After midnight horrors
This is a fabulous boom if you like horror stories! Actually Stephen King is my favorite author and I have his whole collection and I'm a member of the skl and I've been for years but some of my books are shot especially the ones that I read over and over... And this copy is to replace mine which is literally falling apart! I highly recommend this! Risa johnston

Another great collection of stories by Stephen King.
Four Past Midnight is a great addition to my Stephen King collection. I enjoyed all four of the novellas that are in this book. It is like Different Seasons another four novella collection by Stephen King.

Four Past Midnight has four mini-novels included, and is quite a large, long-read book. I had a bit of trouble getting totally involved in the first story, as it does not grab your attention from the first page. After trudging thru a bit farther though, it gets attention grabbing. Over All, I think this Stephen King Novel lives up to the quality and expectations we all know and love about the author. Well worth the read!

FOUR PAST MIDNIGHT BY STEPHEN KING (1990)
PAST MIDNIGHT, SOMETHING HAPPENS TO TIME, THAT FRAGILE CONCEPT WE EMPLOY TO ORDER OUR SENSE OF REALITY. IT BENDS, STRETCHES, TURNS BACK, OR SNAPS, AND SOMETIMES REALITY SNAPS WITH IT. AND WHAT HAPPENS TO THE WIDE-EYED OBSERVER WHEN THE WINDOW BETWEEN REALITY AND UNREALITY SHATTERS, AND THE GLASS BEGINS TO FLY? THE FOUR CHILLING NOVELLAS, A FEAST FIT FOR KING FANS OLD AND NEW, PROVIDE SOME SHOCKING ANSWERS. ONE PAST MIDNIGHT: "THE LANGOLIERS" TWO PAST MIDNIGHT: "SECRET WINDOW" THREE PAST MIDNIGHT: "THE LIBRARY POLICEMAN" FOUR PAST MIDNIGHT: "THE FLAT SURFACE OF A POLAROID PHOTOGRAPH BECOMES FOR FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD KEVIN DELEVAN AND INVITATION TO THE SUPER-NATURAL OLD POP MERRILL, CASTLE ROCK'S SHARPEST TRADER, WANTS TO CRASH THE PARTY FOR PROFIT, BUT "THE SUN DOG," A CREATURE THEAT SHOULDN'T EXIST AT ALL, IS A VERY DANGEROUS INVESTMENT.Read full review

2.5 Past Midnight
First off I really liked this collection of stories.. I'm not just saying that because I am a Stephen King fan.. The first story I felt was the most creative of the four as well as the most entertaining.. This one was also made into a made for tv movie that almost did the story justice.. Next was Secret Window, Secret Garden.. This one I thought was just alright but Johnny Depp must have liked it because he played the main role in the movie adaptation of the story.. The third is The Library Policeman of which I remember about as much as the history film I sat through at the end of the day just before summer break my Junior year of high school... Now the last one was nearly as good as the first story. I thought it was creative as well as leaving the book on a good note.. This book reminded me of a rock bands greatest hits cd if the band only had 2 hits so they place one at the beginning and the other at the end of the cd.. I'd still suggest that you read it if you get the chance.. Good read...Read full review
