Final Fantasy V Advance (Nintendo Game Boy Advance, 2006)
About this product
|Final Fantasy V makes its first U.S. appearance on a Nintendo platform with this enhanced remake of 1992's Super Famicom title. The storyline follows a party of four valiant adventurers on a worldly quest to find a missing king, stop an army of marauding beasts, and reunite the legendary elemental crystals with their kingdom guardians. Players will board ships, hop on bird-like chocobos, ride dragons, and more while crossing diverse landscapes and encountering random battles with an assortment of creatures. Updates to the original game include reorganized menu screens, new dialogue, and sound improvements.|
Final Fantasy V continues the play style found in previous installments while incorporating a job system, which lets players customize the party's abilities and skills at any time by assigning each hero two distinct roles. Four more jobs have been added to the handheld version, including the necromancer, bomber, gladiator, and prophet classes, bringing the total number to 25. Also new is a 30-level dungeon filled with deadlier monsters and powerful items. Final Fantasy V Advance is the third Final Fantasy RPG remake on GBA after 2004's Final Fantasy I & II and 2005's Final Fantasy IV Advance.

Great product and where better to buy than eBay?!!!
Not only was my experience purchasing this game stellar! (A one day shipping turn around, and during the holiday season?!!!) But my son absolutely LOVES this game!! The Game Boy Advance is his favorite system, and the final fantasy series is also a big favorite. He is rather keen on the genre and the style of play.

Get it now, before it's too late!
A hidden gem among the greats. Most gamers do not know about the fifth installment, however, do not be fooled. This game is awesome. The job system is second to none. While the story may not be the best in the series, this is not what the fifth one is about. If you are a Final Fantasy fan, pick this one up now.

Best Game Ever. I owned it years ago and traded it in at Game Stop. Now I have brand new copy. Can't stop playing it.

I loved this game when I first played it, to have it as a handheld is awsome! I love the story, charectors, battle system and the fact that it has set itself apart from the other FF games. very unique class system lets you control the development of your charectors and puts a real nice spin on how you play.
