a certified must own
A great film that is even better in criterion format. There are some really cool special features and alot of insight into the film. They really nailed it when they got Terry Gilliam to direct this movie. The casting is also inspired with Depp and Del Toro as the main characters. The supporting cast is excellent. A great movie other than the extreme weirdness I don't know how it missed on its major outing but like the Big Lebowski greatness may be missed but is appreciated in time

The best drug laden movie you'll ever see.
Wish I could have an adventure like this, wouldn't do every drug under the sun. But it definitely would be a smash to go to Vegas and party like that. Johnny Depp does Hunter Thompson justice and Benicio Del Toro does Oscar Acosta justice as well in this movie as well. If Gonzo would've been alive at the time this movie was made he definitely would've seen a lot of himself in Del Toro's performance.

This DVD version is ,ore in depth and has more info on Hunter himself
A masterpiece freak out film with an excellent cast in the rendition of Hunter S Thomson's Gonzo styled novel Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Lots of Laughs and Lots of Chills, expect that. Great film.

A great book to movie a must own
Depp's acting in this movie was beyond great and he should have a oscar for his role. This movie almost follows the book word for word and that is rare.
Hunter makes a cameo in this movie and the red car is hunter's. Depp lived with thompson before shooting this film to get a feel for the real hunter s. He was hunter in this film. If you have not seen this movie go out and buy it you will not be dissapointed.

Buy the ticket, take the ride!
An all star cast, set in the feel good era and bursting at the seems with raw grit. Great movie that makes me feel alive every time I watch it, 5 star all the way.
