Enduro Racer (Sega Master, 1987)
About this product
- Product InformationLoosely based on Sega's 1986 arcade game of the same name, Enduro Racer for the Master System supplants the behind-the-bike, Hang-On-style viewpoint with an angled, isometric perspective. Gameplay is basically the same (ride a motorcycle, jump over obstacles), and the popular "wheelie" feature remains intact, but the home system's control pad is a poor substitute for the arcade version's handlebars. Also, the console game has some curious coloring choices, including blue trees. One advantage the Master System rendition enjoys is a point system for passing cars during races. Points can be cashed in for use in upgrading the bike's top speed, acceleration and turning power.

A fun game for a good price.
Enduro Racer for the Sega Master System is a fun motorcycle racing game that is great if you are just looking for a quick session of video game play. While it won't keep you playing for hours, it is good fun for 10 or 20 minutes at a time. The graphics are good and the control is very responsive. There is a good level of challenge, and with a little practice, you should be able to advance through the game. This game can be purchased at a very good price and should be a part of everybody's Sega Master System library.

Cross between PaperBoy and Excitebike
Ever play paperboy? This gave is similar to those special "bonus" boards in that its scrolling gameplay is like that, but then mix in a little excitebike. That is exactly this game in a nutshell. Fun jump-over-things dirt bike racing.
