Dead Rising 3 -- Day One Edition (Microsoft Xbox One, 2013)
About this product
|Capcom's other zombie franchise debuts on Xbox One with a new open-world adventure set ten years after the events of Dead Rising 2. Players take control of the mechanic Nick Ramos as he battles his way through hordes of zombies in an attempt to escape the fictional city of Los Perdidos before an impending military strike decimates the area. As always, gamers collect and combine various everyday objects they find into brutal zombie-killing weapons, but Dead Rising 3 also places a greater emphasis on customizable vehicles to help Ramos get around the city.|
As players make their way around Los Perdidos they will join other survivors to escape sticky situations, including the truck driver Dick who is also a playable character in the game's co-op mode. Users have seven in-game days to complete Dead Rising 3, and they can save whenever they want, but a separate Nightmare mode is available for those who want to play with the time limits and save constraints of the first two titles in the series. Any loud noises gamers make in real life will be heard by zombies thanks to the Kinect microphone, and special SmartGlass features let players use a connected device to access exclusive missions, new weapons, and military support.
This Day One edition comes in commemorative packaging and includes classic Frank West and Chuck Greene outfits, complete with their iconic weapons and attribute perks.

The item came without the shrink wrap on it and had a huge, virtually non removable, sticker that said "Microsoft Company, Not For Resale." Tried to remove the sticker and plastic laminate over the paper cover of the case came off completely. This is not a factory sealed copy of the game.

Amazing enough said.
Despite the negative feedback I have read about this game I have had extended fun with this title. There isn't really a con that comes to mind everything transitions smoothly and the gameplay is very exciting. I definitely don't regret this purchase and enjoy the extra content that the Day One edition brings to the table.

Lots of fun and an array of crazy weapons.
Great time. Worth the money and not bad for a platform launch game. I like the fact that I can free roam and do side missions or just create mayhem.

Zombie killing on the next gen not only feels good but is good quality.
For being my first Dead Rising game, I was absolutely pleased with the game. I bought it because I needed games for the Xbox One but ended up truly loving the game, the quirky gameplay, the expansion of weapon customization, and the interesting storyline.
I would definitely suggest it if you are looking for something both fun as well as a game that represents the potential in the Xbox One. You won't be disappointed in buying this game as the hordes of zombies, quirky guns, and wild missions keep you going from start to finish and asking for some more.

ZOMBIE LOVERS MUST BUY
This game blows my mind. Never have I dealt with Zombies at this level. Its fun and very easy to play. I am only one day into the game and I know that it can only get better. If you are a Zombie lover this game will satisfy the need to kill the dead. This is my first xbox 1 game and I picked a good one.
