Cure for the Common Life by Max Lucado
Max makes another home run with this book. The basic idea is to find your personal "sweet spot", where what you are gifted in, what you enjoy, and what God has created you to be converge. Too many people find themselves in a dead end job that they hate, and find no joy or fulfillment in life because they have either followed what was convenient or easy, or they have only followed money as an end, and have missed the true pleasure of doing what they love, and loving what they are doing!! Mr Lucado gives encouragement, insight, and a step by step plan to follow to get out of the rut of sameness, to think outside the box, and to discover who you were meant to be and then following through to become that, rather than just dream about it.

There is no such thing as "crippy crap" jobs.
This book is amazing. I had been in a professional funk and it seemed I had soooo many "crippy crap" distracting "to do list" that seemed to keep me from getting to my "main" goal.
This book was a great tool in getting me to see that even the smallest task as holy. I have heard the word "holy" all of my life this book gave me clear picture of what h-o-l-y- is. I enjoy waking up now and having my mojo back!
Thanks Max for being a vessel.

Gail McHugh- Director
Validity Talent
