A wonderful product.
A wonderful product.
It features an extraordinary performance.
This equipment is the best way to dramatically increase the performance of the notebook.
Another great advantage of this in the fact that if you want to sell the computer is not necessary to sell the sdd with the notebook, so you can use it on another machine, ie it is an investment for many years.
The Crucial M4 SSD's compared to others is the best value when compared to competitors. My computer used a ssd samsung P22 - sata2 and now installed the M4 SATA3 SSD performance and increased 32.4%.

Best SSD for any computer!
I have had a Crucial M4 512GB SSD in my computer for 2 years now and it is great! They are incredibly fast, reliable, and the best money I have ever spent!!! If you are looking to upgrade an old computer and make it quicker, this is the best place that you could put your money. It might help a little with some more RAM or a faster hard drive but the biggest speed improvement is one of these Crucial M4 (or M500 now) SSDs!!!!

This is a Mac supercharger! Best value for the money for its size!
Was able to purchase this for $380, shipping included and install it without any problems or issues in my late 2011 17" MacBook Pro. Cloned my existing 5400 rpm hard drive with carbon copy cloner.
What a difference this makes in a macbook pro. Cold boot up in roughly 10 seconds! No bounces when opening any apps. Plenty of space for whateverI need to do, and everything on my mac from the simplest task to the most intensive is very noticeably faster. 512 gb of fast SSD storage for under $400? Unbelievable!
This isn't the newest SSD on the market, nor does it have the faster performance numbers. But it hands down blows the door of any HDD, and none but the most intensive power user will probably tell any difference between the M4 and any other SSD. And unlike the Samsung 830, you can upgrade the firmware in OSX with a download from Crucial that can be easily burned to a boot up CD. (The Samsung SSD requires a windows machine to update the firmware.)Read full review

This is a must have! Huge and fast!
I bought one of these drives for my MBP13 and loved it so much I had to get one for my Windows 7 desktop. This drive is sooo fast, it is so nice to have a machine restart in seconds as apposed to minutes. This drive is great for all sorts of operating systems, you can't afford not to get one of these. If you run any VMs this is a must. You gotta love the size too, 512 MB WOW. This drive was a breeze to install in my Mac, restoring my system from Time Machine was a snap.
The price per megabyte can not be beet, not to mention the speed.
I can't think of any cons about this drive. Again, you need to get one of these, or two.

Future Drive to All PC.
SSD (Solid State Drive) is the future Drive of all PC.
Soon, like Hard Drive, 2 to 10 terabytes will be available in a smaller package.
Kind of expensive for now, but when supply and demand, Price will drop soon.
Hard Drive or even the fastest WD Velociraptor has to have 3 TB for Storing drive for pictures, HD 1080p or bluray video, files, programs, etc.
SSD derived from "Memocitor" similar to capacitor and regular hard drive will also obsolete sooner or later.
No Need to Defrag, No Crash, No blue screen of death and such.
