Crash Nitro Kart (Sony PlayStation 2, 2003)
About this product
|The orange wonder from down under is back for another adventure, this time from behind the wheel of a go-kart. Inspired by 1999's hit CTR (Crash Team Racing) for the original PlayStation, Crash Nitro Kart offers four-player racing action in a variety of game modes. Players will compete in cup challenges, time trials, and an assortment of multiplayer battles. While speeding along the predominately outdoor environments, players can run over such items as wumpa fruit to increase speed, ramps to leap over chasms, and crates to acquire power-ups for offense or defense. In addition to Crash Bandicoot, featured characters include Crunch, Coco, Dingodile, Neo Cortex, and more.|

My son is only 6 and he really enjoyed the game.he needed a little help in the beggining but the second time he played all by himself. I would recommend this for anyone 5 or older. If younger than 5 they may need help the first time then they probably won;t let you near the controller or the game console. My son has always had his favorite games to play like hunting or fighting games but not now.

Crash Nitro Kart
Crash Nitro Kart across a slew of single-player and multiplayer gameplay styles, including Cup Tournament, Team Race, five Battle modes and two Time Trial formats. Adventure mode offers a mild story line to connect racing through five different worlds. As with other kart games, tracks are filled with power-ups, bonuses, weapons, and hazards, such as fruit crates, boost pads, homing missiles, and the old favorite, the bowling bomb. The controls are easy to pick up but hard to master. While, as in most driving/racing titles, you can get by for a while with simple gas-and-brake pumping, skillful use of CNK other elements such as power slides, boosts, and the collaborative Team Frenzy will enable access to deeper parts of the game.
