Good Condition. Arrived in good time.
I plays well, no scratches. I'm very pleased. I would recommend it. I love this music! It arrived within 2 weeks, it is in very good condition.
I did have to 'clean' the plastic outside cover. It was not awful, but it was little dusty! Which is why I gave it 4 stars. But as far as the quality of the CD itself, it was in perfect condition!

Great music that relaxes you but doesn't put you to sleep
This CD was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad I bought it! It's wonderful traveling music and I really enjoyed listening to it as I drove to visit friends who live 5 hours away from me. I like all of the songs on the CD, but of course I have at least 3 favorites.

A musical Voyage
After reading the book I heard about this 'sound track' and purchased it to see what the guy had done to integrate it into the book. The story of the book moves across many varied moods and settings and the music does pretty much the same. Franke took the time to match melody with settings and I use it to do my own unofficial brand of meditating. It allows me to think without influencing my thought direction. It doesn't stun me it's really good.

relaxation, meditation, contemplation - beautiful music
I never read the book for which this CD was composed as if it were a soundtrack to a movie, but a few minutes with it at a listening station in a music store ten years ago convinced me that I needed to buy it. Money was short at the time, one thing lead to another, and I never got around to buying it. Well, the music was powerful enough that I remembered it a whole decade later and thought, "Why not try ebay?" So here we are.
Like I said, I never read the book upon which this music was based, but as a writer myself, I appreciate the value of an enchanting melody that can carry me to beautiful, exotic, and mysterious places. Unlike a lot of New Age music that seems just too dull, even monotonous, and full of more nature sounds than actual music, this CD contains moving music that actually guides you through a story better than some actual movie soundtracks. Every track is a different chapter of a story (maybe the one you dream up as you listen to it) and as a whole its laid out as a journey of crests and valleys that exhilarate one moment and soothe the next.Read full review
