Cadillac Man (DVD, 2002)
Queens car salesman Joey O'Brien (Robin Williams) must deal with the ever-increasing pressures in his life: he has an ex-wife demanding alimony, a daughter who's missing, a married mistress (Fran Drescher) and a single mistress (Lori Petty) who are both desperately in love with him, and a two-day deadline to either sell twelve cars or lose his job. In addition, he has an outstanding loan to a Mafia don which he must either quickly repay, or lose his life. On the day of the big dealership car sale (and the final day of O'Brien's deadline), the car dealership is taken hostage by an AK-47-toting motorcyclist (Tim Robbins) (on a Kawasaki H2) who believes his wife (Annabella Sciorra) is cheating on him. Joey manages to talk the man out of doing any harm to the other hostages, as police surround the dealership. After most of the hostages are released, the police wound the assailant, not realizing his gun is not loaded. Joey promises to stick with him while he recovers. The crisis solves all of Joey's problems: his mistresses learn of each other and dump him, his daughter returns, his job is secure, the Mafia don (whose son was among the hostages) forgives his debt, and he begins to reconcile with his ex-wife.Read full review

One of the best old films. Must have in your collection
Excellent comedy from late 80's early 90's!Great times where credits were dirt chip and life was much easier in many respects. For me as a salesman myself this film is very closed. Robin Williams performance is great!

Excellent comedy classic
I love this movie so much! I first saw it on Comedy Central in 1997. I've probably seen it at least 12 times on televsion by now and I still enjoy watching it. This is one of those movies that you can never get tired of and keep laughing at. Robin Williams and Tim Robbins give great performances. If you've never seen Cadillac Man you will love this movie if you are into comedies.

I can't believe that I waited as long as I did to purchase this movie. It is truly great. Tim Robbins at his best. I was so relieved to find this DVD on Ebay since it is so hard to find in any store. I don't think that you can even rent this title anymore. It is good re-watch for those of us that have seen it already, and for those first-timers too. I recieved it in the mail and watched it that evening. I would suggest it to any Robin Williams fan as well. Don't miss it.

Im so surprised that I never heard of this movie before until last night. It was such a great movie! I love Robin Williams. In this movie he plays a brave car sales man. It starts off by showning all of the many women in his life. Robin Williams finds himself in a hostage situation and during the course of the day, he saves everyone, saves his job, simplifies his life (all his girls leave him), gets his ex wife back, and helps out Larry. WOW What a day! of course its also a very funny movie!
