Easy to install Awesome safety features Never buy anything else but Britax
This car seat is great!!! We have a Recaro Signo in our other car and was going to buy another Recaro but decided to go with the Britax. The only thing I do not like is you can not adjust the headrest height once it is in place you have to unbuckle and adjust from behind. The material is great and stain resistant. Seat overall is easy to put in with latch device.

Safe car seat but not w/o hiccups
I purchased this seat based on my past experience with the Britax brand and this seat does not feel like a Britax in installation or use. I don't doubt that it is safe and will do the job well, but it is quite a shift of gears to go from the Roundabout to this seat. It goes in completely differently (the base is wider thus resulting in the latch being tightened up through the seat and is overall much more difficult) and the harness has tabs to keep the belts in place that are simply cumbersome. I have become used to being able to pull the seat in and out of the car with ease and buckle up quickly but this seat is not leaving my car anytime soon and simply takes a few extra beats to get tightened. I like it and am keeping it - but I can't say I love it.

Great car seat and booster combo!
I love this car seat. We purchased a Britax Regent almost 3 years ago for our then-2-year old so that his baby brother could have his Britax Roundabout. Our plan was for him to stay in it until he moved to a boostermany years down the road. The Regent was huge, heavy, and hard to install without latch (the seat is so big, the seatbelts are many times too short. Other than that we loved the regent and the safety. The birth of our third child brought more musical chairs (well car seats). We purchased the Frontier for our oldest (now 4), moved our 2-year old to the Regent and put the baby in the Roundabout. Well, we love the Frontier! It is light weight, much narrower, and installs without needing a large quantity of seat belt like the Regent. We like it so much, we are purchasing a second one for our 2 year old. He likes to sleep in his seat, and in the Regent his head slumps horribly. The head wings on the frontier will prevent that. We also are taking a trip by train soon and didn't want to even attempt to take the Regent with us since it is so heavy and huge. What we like: 1) light weight, narrow (easier to install with other seats in car) 2) fairly easy to install. read the instructions thoroughly, though. 3) the headreast and belts move up as they grow without having to rethread the straps - hallelujah! 4) buckle between the legs is closer to the body than regent 5) head wings are nice 6) seat is very comfortable Cons: 1) cupholders are about worthless. don't work well 2) strap release button is a little difficult to find/work I recommend this for any parent wanting to keep their child in a 5-point restraint as long as possible. good car seat
this is and excellent car seat. very sturdy and i feel completely at ease with my child in it. the build quality is superb. my only gripe, although not really much of a gripe, is that this car seat really is a pain in the a** to install. however, with a LOT of patience and following the directions to a T, you'll be fine.

BRITAX FRONTIER BOOSTER SEAT
I'll be quick -- we love this item - it's a bit larger at the base then normal child seats so be sure your seat isnt' too narrow - most aren't so I only throw that in for anyone with narrow bucket seats -- our minivan has plenty o' room You'll love this seat -- nice and roomy for the child and with neat cup holders on each side for him to play with his juice -- Chris
