About this product
|Television's hit weight-loss show offers gamers a chance to improve their life with more than 60 exercises and 50 healthy recipes in The Biggest Loser. Players take on the show's former contestants in challenges lasting four, eight, or twelve weeks, with structured routines featuring weigh-ins, weekly challenges, and eliminations. A calendar keeps track of progress and informs gamers of upcoming training events and weigh-ins, while wellness gurus Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels provide tips and moral support. The "Exercise Routines" section allows players to choose pre-determined exercise regimens or create custom plans, while the "Challenge Events" mode pits gamers against former show contestants in a series of competitive events. The Biggest Loser is compatible with the Wii Balance Board, but the game does not demand that players stay indoors to lose weight. Users receive credit for any exercise they do away from the game, while the "Health and Lifestyle" tool offers up 50 healthful recipes, and an interactive calorie counter recommends daily intake based on personal goals.|

The Biggest Loser is a Big Winner!
If you bought the WII Fit for weight loss purposes thinking it was going to be a good workout and then was dissapointed (as I did) then this is the workout game for you!
It is like having your own personal trainer in your living room. After a short interview (height, weight, age, goals) You can choose a preprogrammed workout or create your own. I chose a preprogrammed because I figured they would know better than I as to which exercises would benefit me best.
Once you complete the interview there is a calendar of events. Your calendar is a schedule of upper body workout, core workout, weigh-ins, ect. Some days you will have nothing scheduled. On these days I usually complete a few of the challenges, which are challenging but also fun.
This workout game has three levels of difficulty. I started with the easiest because I am over weight and I have not worked out in quite a while and I started sweating during the warmup! But more importantly, they are actually doable, not like some of the workout videos you buy and are impossible for a person who is just starting out. I like the fact that I will probably never "out grow" this game.
Some other things that this workout game is capable of are; keeping track of other exercise activities that you do outside the game, keeping track of your calorie intake and how many you burn during your workout and tracks your weight loss or gain. You can do your workouts utilizing the WII Fit board or not.
This purchase is one of the most satisfying ones that I have ever made.Read full review

If you like this TV show, this game is just as much fun. I have only had it a few days and it is very addictive. I work out everyday, and can do this in the privacy of my own living room. When I first started, I thought how can someone get a good sweat from a video game, well i was wrong and completely exhausted when done. I would recomend this game to anyone wishing to lose a few pounds and not wanting to join a gym.

BE READY TO SWEAT!! Playing = REAL WEIGHT LOSS!!
Be prepared to seriously sweat the pounds away!! If you are serious about getting fit and losing weight, this game follows the TV show's intensity. This is NOT fun!! BUT YOU WILL LOSE SERIOUS WEIGHT!!
Unlike Wii Fit which has fun balance games and freedom to choose your excersices. The Biggest Loser chooses the exercises for you and determines a set time for your workout based on your choices on How much you want to loose in a set amount of time.
I'm 44 obese and handicapped and chose the lowest weight goal in the longest time and ended up with an intense 13 min non-stop workout. My friend chose the same weight loss but second to last time frame and ended up with a 26 min ( she does get a water break 1/2 way thru)
If you are not able to do some of the exercises (handicapped like me) then adapt the exercise to something you can do, the idea is to not give up and keep moving!! There is a quick play option that allows you to add additional exercise min to your daily workout and gives you the option of choosing which exercise you want to do. A place to enter your daily calorie intake as well as letting you know how many you should be consuming to make your goal. Lots of low cal recipes and other tips.
After 1 week of "play" my friend and I lost 3x what we thought we would so if your serious this game will help you lose weight. You are going to hurt!! sweat!!! scream, Yell at Jillian or Bob thru your TV!! But you will Lose weight!!Read full review
