Bewitched was a family show from the 1960's centering around Samantha Stephens (Elizabeth Montgomery) a beautiful witch who marries a mortal. Even though she tries to give up using her witchcraft to please her husband, she still ends up using it and the results are hilarious! Even the special effects of the time, however primitive by today's standards, were excellent. Some volumes have extras (documentaries, etc) which are very interesting to watch. The late Agnes Moorehead plays Samantha's mother Endora, who despises her son-in-law Darrin (played by Dick York, and later Dick Sargent). Her vocal inflections, combined with her sharp wit, make her an irreplacable and unforgettable character. Although, sometimes, you can spot some duplication in or rewriting of a prior script, the series remains an all-time favorite today. Many baby-boomers will remember this show and a simpler time in this country's thinking. Late baby-boomers (born between 1957-1960) were probably raised with this show on, and many young males though of Samantha as a great wife or mother. I remember this show fondly from my childhood, that Thursdays at 8:30 PM the television was mine just so I could watch Bewitched. I'm glad it is now available, uncut and restored.Read full review

Bewitched - The Complete Third season (2006, DVD)
I have always loved Bewitched and I love having a DVD on it. Bewitched was a favorite show of mine growing up. I loved all the characters in it. My favorite was Samatha Played by Elizabeth Montgomery. I also loved Uncle Arthur played by Paul Lynde. He was a very good comedian. He made you laugh all the time. They made everyday life fun and exciting. This show is what today's children are missing. It is a clean, funny and likeable show. It made you laugh all the time. Everyone loved it.

With the extras and the great digital quality, it's like watching it for the first time again. These are classic bewitched, it just doesn't get any better! It reminds us just how much talent has been lost since these wonderful characters have all left us. We miss you Sam and you even more Elizabeth....

Good family fun
The Bewitched series takes me back to fond memories of childhood. The third season introduces more family members and interesting story lines. I now find myself wondering how did they do all those special affects "back then" and it turn out so well. Lots of fun and laughs.

Bewitched - The Complete Third Season (2006, DVD)
This is the first season that Bewitched was aired in color. The show lost some of its charm due to going from black and white to color. However, the great fun in the show was not lost. Season three is just as funny, and a great family show to watch together. A wonderful buy and addition to any family collection!
