a tried and true recipe book for new cooks
it was purchased as a gift for my daughter. she wanted a cook book just like her grandmothers. i plan to order one for myself in the future for sentimental reasons and also find it is a great cooking resource. o have the joy of cooking but find betey crocker a little easier to follow with a little better recipes.

Perfect if you can only have 1 cookbook.
I bought this because I was given a brand new one 27 years ago when I got married. I used it almost every day. So when each of my children get married, I find them a copy becaue this is one of the best cookbooks out there for a beginner. It has everything you need to know about how to get started with basics like freezing food, cooking from scratch, canning, everything.
There was a little water damage in one area throughout the book, like a corner got wet. But it does not effect the usability of the product.

It's an awesome vintage cookbook with all the old recipes we grew up with.

This Betty Crocker cookbook is the best of all cookbooks. I've been using it since I married in 1987. My original copy was so used and soiled that I needed a new one. I also found two more to give to each one of my children, since they are old enough to cook. We all love this edition.

Great, easy to use,has a recipe for just about anything!
This binder style cookbook is extra easy to use because it lays flat when you open it.Bought this item because there have been several in the family and my daughter wanted one of her own.
