Don't Leave Home Without It!
I had a Blackberry for approximately 2 years and hated every moment of it. I was able to recently switch to the Apple iphone 3GS 8GB with AT&T. This phone is definitely awesome. I have had the phone for a approximately a month now and I love it. Although it is early, I don't suspect I will have as many problems as I did with the Blackberry. Here is my review, don't forget to rate it at the end, hopefully you find it helpful!

There are many positives to this phone. It is fast, light weight, and works fast. My favorite thing is the unlimited amount of apps available for this phone. You can either pay for apps you want or download free ones. So far, I have had all free apps. I suppose I will eventually buy one if I really like it. Some apps include tools that will assist you with everyday life, games, and social network apps. I use facebook and twitter on a daily basis. The battery seems to last a good amount of time, depending on usage. I do try to charge it at least every other day. I have used apps and called people in which the battery has not yet been in the red. I do charge it on a daily basis. The phone and message area is easy to use. I use the recent call list and contact list for this a lot. It separates each call into blocks. Retrieving messages are also easy. There is a easy to use voicemail section, keypad, and you can even store favorites.

It was easy to convert my old songs into the new phone. I had a previous ipod touch. The only thing I notice is when playing basketball the songs skipped. I had to put the screen lock on and it seemed to fix the issue. I have to play around with the software and get my playlists back in.

Text messaging is also easy to use. It separates the messages, almost into blocks. You choose a specific message and get all texts from that individual. You have to get a little use to the keyboard. You can mistype from time to time but it will correct automatically what you get wrong. Sometimes the auto correct can be quite amusing. I actually shut mine off!

I usually always use the Wi-Fi section in the settings. It is pretty easy to use. If you connect to a local Wi-Fi, you are not charged for data on your network. It is easy to find and displays all local Wi-Fi connections, including if a password is needed or not.

The internet is great to use and is easy. You can easily navigate through the screen once you get used to pinching in and out. You can also easily open new screens and keep old ones up.

I having been having a little difficult with obtaining emails. It works great at home but I have problems outside of my residence. I don't know if it is problems with my local service provider or the phone. I have to look into it.

I highly recommend this phone. I was able to get it for a good price with AT&T and I'm very happy with it. Many recommend the iphone 4g but this one seems to accomplish everything I need for now.Read full review

Durable,Takes excellent pictures,Less risk to accidental body selfie.
Since I started to have an apple iphones my most favorite is Iphone 3GS.
With my hard plastic cover on it,I had dropped on the cement floor perhaps 10 times and it didn't break-excellent durability. I can't complain of taking easy prominent pictures whether in the sun or in the dark and they pictures are seem to be as it appears within your actual eye vision.-Excellent for taking pictures. Most of gadgets are almost identical to other iphones except it has a compass.
While other individuals prefer to have new better ones, in my fingertips as long as I have my 3GS and I know quite well how to use and for now in my opinion it is irreplaceable.
