Not sure if it happened in shipping or before it was shipped
I understand this was a used machine but the description said cosmetically good. I received the product with banged up handles bent beyond repair. The machine boots, but has a password on the login account so I am unable to do anything as far as install software.

Excellent choice for a used computer
This is an extremely reliable, fast machine. I've never had a moment's trouble. Access to memory slots and drive bays couldn't be easier. The fans are always quiet.

Great value for the money
Needed an older model to replace what I have, not ready to upgrade my software. Great replacement and faster than my old unit. Iam very satisfied with my purhase.

In a nutshell "smooth"!
Good experience great computer which I am using to write this. Plenty of room for upgrades which I will do as time passes. A good computer for those that do not need a brand new one for what they will use a computer for. Fast and stable running Tiger and it runs Power PC software that Lion no longer supports. It even runs classic if you have OS9 installed to run pre OSX software. With the price of software that can be a good deal. I have tons of the old software but use a Quicksilver for my OS9 needs cause I run it in native OS and not classic. But if needs be I can run it on this G5. I think the pro reasons why to buy and what it has to offer will keep me going for a while to come. Very pleased with my acquisition.

Great product, shipped on time, happy with it.
Needed an older model to replace what I have because it went kaput. Not ready to upgrade all my hardware and software. It works great and I'm happy with it.
