Awesome Last True Apple Laptop
This MacBook Pro is one of the last made that still had a removable battery. It also features an ExpressCard slot and dual video cards. And this is a 15" model by the way. Now, all 15" MacBook Pros come with non-removable batteries, NO ExpressCard slot, and either an integrated or stand-alone graphics card. For me, this older generation is the last true laptop Apple made before deciding to make all of its laptops giant iPods.

Great product don't be put off by the age of this laptop.
I bought this product due to the fact that it is the last year that the MacBook Pro was built to be easily upgraded. The late 2008 model was the first year with the current aluminum unibody. In 2009 Apple made a change to the battery so they have to be serviced by Apple. For late 2008 the bottom cover was built in 2 pieces which makes access to the battery and hard drive easy. The 2009 and newer models have a single piece cover that requires you to remove 8 screws to have access to the hard drive and battery which can't be user replaced anymore. Even though the laptop was made back in 2008 its still a powerful performer. With Apple laptops you don't have to be afraid of instant outdating.

Excellent, better than expected!
What's the difference between a PC and a MAC. I only can say that this 4 year old Macbook are MUCH BETTER in every aspect than my 2 Year old Dell with windows Vista. Everything its made with the best of quality that you imagine, more than anything you expect.
Everything its so fast, so intelligent, thats why apple its the future.

Nice 2008 Mac Book Pro
This is an excellent 2008 Macbook Pro laptop. I don't have anything negative to say about macs. They make long lasting products.
