I bought this for my daughter who is on an all star competitive cheer team. I thought she would like choreographing routines. My daughter loves the game. She likes picking the outfits and coming up with the cheers.

Age might make a difference
My daughter is 11 and completely into everything cheerleading. She is thrilled to have this game, but she says it's "hard" to get to the point where she can really cheer. Then, when she gets to that point, it's "hard" to make the cheerleader move where she wants it. She may just need more practice, or it might be better for her when she is a little older. Just something to consider . . .
