Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere (Sony PlayStation 1, 2000) - Japanese Version
About this product
|Pilot 22 aircraft across a series of 36 missions in Namco's third entry in its arcade-style flight combat series. Receive briefings before each mission to learn the battle details and identify your targets. Then pilot your aircraft around the battle area while attempting to destroy targets in the air, on the ground, or at sea. Complete your objectives to advance to the next mission with new aircraft and weapons. |
A number of conditions must be satisfied to succeed. Your damage rating must be under 100%, you cannot crash or be shot down over land or sea, you cannot exceed the time limit, and you cannot leave the battle area. If you do not meet all of these conditions, your mission ends and you must restart. Refuel your aircraft in midair, fly during the day or at night, and choose from three difficulty settings to customize your game.

The Best Ace Combat Series
Well I like to know this game is the best ace combat series (expect ace combat 5)
Good Things: Epic Explosion, Plane Design looks very future style lots of Anime Scene (done by Production I.G) (Japanese Version Only)
Bad Thing: The US/UK Version everything change because of the copyright issues by Bandai Namco Games (Original by Namco) but there some different intermission before the mission start (US Version) plus Different Words but just for reason the UK Version is worst of all cuts because copyright issues but it still the best ace combat series overall
Last Words: Remember Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere (Japanese Original) for PS1/PSX. (2 disks)
that everyone really enjoy it because it got anime scene. (anime scenes from Production I.G) plus many fans enjoyed watching the anime scene plus a Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere OST Disk 1 - Music CD & Disk 2 PS1 Disk with Music CD build in, plus addition features Mission Simulator, addition planes video about X-49 Night Raven (with advert from Neucom Inc). plus with Mission 00 (VHS Only now showing on youtube)
Then there was a US/UK Version that change everything and cut a lot out because of the copyright issues. (that no joke)
But "what if" they Re-release Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere on PSP/PS3/XBOX 360 with all the Japanese Original version with include the Anime Scene not the US/UK Cuts, but also have anyone who can do the voices in English & Japanese with English Subtitles.
What do you think???
Thanks@;) "Chao"Read full review

Great Old PS1 Game
If you enjoy playing classical PlayStation games, you'll definitly enjoy this one. It features fairly realistic air combat and a wide variety of vechiles to fly. This game takes a good amount of time to complete and get kinda of boring. Don't buy expecting too much. Remember older games can never be compared to the new ones.

Electrosphere is electrifying
I've been a pretty big Ace Combat fan since 04 on the PS2 and have always wanted to go back and replay the earlier entries. My uncle owned Air Combat, and I have the 3DS remake of AC2, but the 3rd game always eluded me...
It plays pretty much like Air Combat, and the American release was pretty watered down from what I hear from the Japanese game. That being said, it's a solid arcade shooter with pretty good graphics for a PSX game.
