If you want fast and do not have a lot of cash, this is your board!
This board was a hidden gem for me, Running the x4 965 BE processor 4 GHz easy, 4 GIGs of XMS2 DHX DDR-800(not the fastest but still screams), the board with 4 gigs of high speed ram or even 8 depending is all you need! I have nothing bad to say about this board, if I had the cash I would potentially set up 2 more of these systems with this board. Cannot Beat the price and with the right processor(anything north of 3.2 GHz) this thing will keep you happy, programs start up at a blink of an eye, in my experience so far I say stay with 4 gigs for best performance. 8 if your gaming, but latencies will get worse, FYI. I wish I would have stumbled onto this MOBO before I blew my load on my other rigs, now that I see what these boards put out for less then half the price.

Great replacement board
I purchased this board to replace a bad board in an HP. There were problems with the boards that were used in this particular model so I didn't want to replace it with the same board. board works great, I had to purchase another CPU fan because the original used a 3 pin connector and the Asus used a 4 pin, I also had to figure out the pin out on the Asus for a proprietary connector used by the HP for power led, HD led and the power button.

Works like a champ and thanks again for the extra SATA cables. ASUS rocks.
It's a fine upgrade from the Pegatron Violet that was in my HP p6310y. I gained a couple SATA ports and can upgrade my processor now with many more options. It took a little custom wiring to get the case wiring on the board (HP has proprietary case wiring plugs) and I had to add a system speaker. The ATI video chip could be better and the Catalyst Control Center was a pain to get installed correctly, and then did basically nothing, but everyone who knows, knows that ASUS is the #1 motherboard manufacturer. I installed an ASUS motherboard for a friend in 2002 with a 2GHz Athlon (single core) and he's still using it today.

Best refurbed mobo purchase ever.
Didnt realize I was getting a slight upgrade and boost from my oem hp mobo... But im glad I waited out to see what was available since that hinksink burned out on me. Let me be the one to say I am very immpressed at this product even with it being refurbed. Best purchases ever for me to get the desktop up and running. Only minor change was
to get a fresh copy of any windows from xp- vista on this one, works like charm. The xtras on this mobo are definetley worth it...loving the push button style of overclocking it, can tell the difference immediately. Built in video & audio is a nice plus also. I switch this out of a hp a6310y that I purchased from best buy the summerset of 2009. I didnt purchase a warranty, cause I love fixing, repairing an electronic thats worth saving.Best $$ spent on this items ever again, you won't be disappointed.Read full review

Great MB Works for me
A great MB for the price. Really improved the old computer. No problems using with W7.
Needed a new MB for use with an older AMD chip and memory. Save lots of money with this board since I used the current cpu/mem. Actually performed faster then the old toasted one.
If you want a moderate speed MB to support older CPU and do not the high power new CPUs, this is a good buy. Used as a game computer for online gaming. Added a medium range video card. High frame rates 65 to 75 WOW.
No complaints +++
