A Walk to Remember
In Beaufort, North Carolina, a prank on a student goes terribly wrong and puts the student in the hospital. Landon Carter, a popular student with no defined plans for the future, is held responsible and forced to participate in after-school community service activities as punishment, which include starring as the lead in the school play. Also participating in these activities is Jamie Sullivan, the reverend's daughter who has great ambitions and nothing in common with Landon. When Landon decides he wants to take his activities seriously, he asks Jamie for help and begins to spend most of his time with her. But he starts to develop strong feelings for her, something he did not expect to do. The two start a relationship, much to the chagrin of Landon's old popular friends and Jamie's strict reverend father. But when a heart-breaking secret becomes known that puts their relationship to the test, it is then that Landon and Jamie realize the true meaning of love and fate. This isn't your typical love story, because when it comes down to it, the love is only part of the whole scheme. It is the movie's very simplicity, lack of pretension and strong supporting actors that also serves it so very well. Highly recommended.Read full review

Love to watch over and over again!
First, I'm a sucker for a chick flick, love story, whatever you want to call it. Though it may end sad it was/is a great story. My daughter had this movie and took it with her when she got her own place. I decided that I wanted my own. The movie is in my room next to the DVD player so I can watch it at anytime. No such thing as watching it too many times.

One of the best movies I have ever seen.
One of the best movies I have ever seen. Very touching story written by novelist Nicholas Sparks. Enjoyed the story from start to finish. Shane West and Mandy Moore were superb throughout. A great family movie.

A WALK TO REMEMBER IS A MUST HAVE-TO-HAVE TO ALL, ESPECIALLY CHRIST BELIEVE
A WALK TO REMEMBER IS A MUST-TO-HAVE TO ALL, ESPECIALLY CHRIST BELIEVERS… This movie shows a lot of values that is also a MUST-TO APPLY in a healthy courtship. It develops a true, profound and honest respect of others believes, based on TRUE LOVE TO OTHERS regardless my personal points of view. Landon (Shane west) is a really bulling guy, who falls in love to Jamie (Mandy More). One point to observe is that Landon is atheist and Jamie is committed Christian. Jamie’s values include abstinence, as designed by GOD. On the other hand, Landon respects and PROTECTS her value simply because HE LOVES HER. Other point is A WALK TO REMEMBER is a PROOF of that LOVE IS NOT A FEELING… LOVE IS A DECISION!!!!... In fact, Landon “decides” to love Jamie regardless a certain of pain (see the movie to understand); and Jamie decides to love Landon regardless of himself. There is no other way: IF ONE DECIDES TO LOVE, HE/SHE WILL DISCOVER THAT GOD REALLY EXISTS… AS LANDON DID…
Shane and Many DID AN EXCELLENT WORK… Especially Mandy. In my opinion, is a low budged movie, but well presented.
PLEASE BUY A WALK TO REMEMBER… WITH NO DOUBTS!!!Read full review

Great movie experience!
Very interesting story line. Great movie for family. A must watch for those hopelessly romantic peeps that enjoy sapping love movies. It really doesn't compare to any other movie other than the fact it has same story line like most other ones.
