If you know anyone with schizophrenia or are just interested in learning more, this movie can be an engaging exploration into the mind. The cast is very good and brings a great sense of reality to the watcher.

My relation to mental illness thru this movie!
I like this movie because it shows mental illness, which I've had before in the past. I didn't hallucinate people like the actor did. I did however have schizoaffective disorder and I did hallucinate a black and white movie on my wall at the mental hospital. I also saw a head of a Indian and the head of a devil in the blowing of the trees outside that I viewed inside out the window. This movie shows a guy who was mentally ill and that reminds me of my time at a mental institute.

A Beautiful Story
This movie is one of the best I think I've ever seen - the depicting of John Nash's tragic struggle with schizophrenia is handled carefully and brilliantly by Russell Crowe, who should have been nominated for his performance. His loving wife, Jennifer Connelly, was mezmerizing. The movie's drama flows, and humor is woven in at exactly the right spots, making it enjoyable and keeping you in the story until the last moving moment. I would recommended it for anyone who loves a wonderful story, wonderful acting, or who wants a look inside the mind of a schizophrenic.
