I was able to fix a broken zipper, but it really is a very temporary fix. Price is good, quality is OK. Biggest complaint is that it keeps popping open. It has a latch that releases so you can install on existing zipper. but it comes open really easy. Would be great if you could put it on and it stayed on.

Not what I was expecting. A plastic product. Larger size is not heavy enough to zip and hold together a heavier weight jacket. Might be ok for temporary repair of light weight items.

I had a few winter coats where the zippers broke and needed replaced. I bought this and a competing similar zipper fix item from ebay. Both were incredibly cheap and worth the gamble. Lost the bet! One came in a few weeks, and one came in a month or so. They looked and appeared to be the same item. Neither one of them worked for me.

the sliders went on easy, but they also came off easy. the zippers would not stay closed and the sliders did not stay on. don't recommend this as a DIY repair

I should have done more research before I ordered this kit. The good news is that it did not cost much. The bad news is that it simply does not work. Maybe if you were to cut the bottom off your old zipper, and have metal staples, and the ability to sew the whole thing back together, you could achieve something, but I doubt it.
