Worked best for me by putting it up in the attic space... above the ceiling line. This more than doubled the number of stations pulled in and has much less pixelation from weak signal. I stapled it to a roof joist (Don't staple through any of the internal traces.) and left about a foot of coaxial cable hanging down through the ceiling. This did not work well at all by putting it anywhere in the room itself or on the actual window pane which faces the west south-west.. There was just too much stuff between the room and most of the transmission towers 25 miles away to the north. I am happy with the performance that it has been providing-use the attic space. It works better that an amplified antenna that I had in the room itself.

I live in a large city c...lose to TV towers, so all I need is a basic antenna. I've used other 1byone antennas and found them to be the best and the easiest to position to get all available channels. That having been said, I found this 35 mile round antenna to be particularly difficult to position to get all available channels. I actually had a much easier time positioning the 25 mile rectangular 1byone antenna than I did this one. Next time I need an antenna, I'll pay the extra buck and get the 25 mile rectangular one.
