I've heard this from more than one transmission shop. This stuff eliminates the need to buy pricey Honda Z-1 fluid for my Odyssey. We are nearing 200K miles on our 2007 Odyssey and we haven't had a day of trouble; it still shifts flawlessly. I also used it in our kid's Accord. The problem with the 2002 Accord is that the recommended transmission fluid service interval was 120K. (Way too long!!) By the time the tranny started acting up and trouble codes were appearing on the dash, the fluid looked like ink. I installed a good external filter and flushed it with clean, low-cost fluid until the tranny finally started working normally again, then I refilled the tranny with relatively cheap Dexron III with Lubegard 61910 additive. No more problems! Read Lubegard's detailed recommendations for each specific model of car on their website for exactly what Lubegard fluid to use.Read full review

I have only tries a couple of other transmission additives and none worked. I read a possessive review of lubegard and gave it a try. I put it in a 4l60e out of the junk yard that was slipping. Within 25 miles the trans worked great. That was about 3 years ago and no problems later. I had the same problem with another junk yard purchased 200r4 I decided to try lubegard a second time and sure enough great results again. This stuff has worked twice for me saving several hundred dollars for rebuilds. Hope it works for you.
