  UTILITY PUMP

  I was very happy to recieve my utuility pump early. Our last ...pump was not automatic and my husband forgot to turn it off and burned it up. My basement floods easily and we have had up to 4 inches of water pour in and had to have a pump. I recieved the pump and in a couple days got bombarded with 24 inches of snow then 2 days of rain. The pump was quiet and very efficient, pumping out all the water within 15 or 20 minutes. I no longer have to run up and downstairs to check on it and worry over the height of the water building up. It turns on and does its job then turns off till it is needed again. I am very happy with it and would reccomend this model very highly.

  Automatic off and on does not always work on this pump

  I wanted a pump that ...would work on automatic /off and on. This pump would not always turn off. I wasted my money on this one I have this one that i cannot use sitting in my garage. do u want a good buy on it. I did buy one with a outside float switch that works great. Unhappy buyer in TN.

  Great automatic pump

  This is a great automatic pump that has worked properly..., dependably, and effectively as a backup drainage solution for large window wells if a drain gets clogged. Its a little large for smaller spaces but it does the job so well. My experience with mostly clean water says it deserves more credit than its received, I'm thinking its less positive reviews may be in situations where its workhorse ability is being overextended somehow? Pump reviews are all over the place depending on the knowledge & expectations of the user. I'm hoping with good care this one may last a long time like some other big name pumps I've had.

  It pump well. I was interested in this pump because it does not h...ave a external float that is easily obstructed by debris. The pump turns on properly but seems to have issues with turning off. The garden hose adapter has a air bleed and a check valve to keep the water from back flowing. This is a good feature. The unit has a small foot print relative to other types of sump pumps with floats if one includes the room that is needed for float to work.
