About the 1990 Ford F-250

Big, bold, and rugged, the Ford F-250 has earned its place in history as one of Ford's most popular pickup trucks. More than heavy-duty, Ford F-250 is a super-duty" pickup truck that can do even the toughest jobs. MSRP pricing begins at $28,505 for XL, $31,750 for XLT, $39,865 for the luxurious Lariat, and $47,645 for the horse-and-saddle themed King Ranch model. F-250 comes as a regular cab, super cab or crew cab, in 4x2 or 4x4. F-250 pickup trucks easily seat 3 adults in cab style, or 6 in either super or crew cab styling. This is the super-duty pickup Ford designed to work hard and last long.

All this power is possible with the 6.2 L 2-valve V8 gas or 6.7 L Power Stroke V Turbo Diesel engines. Get 385 horsepower at 5,500 with the V8, and 400 horsepower at 2,800 with the Diesel powertrain. F-250 runs on regular unleaded or E85 gasoline, or ultra-low-sulfur diesel B20 fuel. All have a smooth 6-speed SelectShift automatic transmission, and 35 to 37.5-gallon fuel tanks. Ford F-250 trucks are made in many US locations and other countries including Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, and Canada.

The Ford F-250 has a long production history dating back to 1948, when the first generation 2 model was built in the US. The F-250 designation originated with the second generation in 1953. Four years later, in 1957, Ford closed the Highland Park, MI, plant and moved the F-250 line to their Kentucky Truck Assembly plant in Louisville, KY. Today, the twelfth generation production of Ford F-250 pickup trucks continues in Dearborn, MI; Kansas City, MO; and in other countries.

F-250 is a vehicle perfect for serious pickup truck driving. It has twin I-beam front suspension with coil springs and stabilizer bar. F-250s have power-assist steering, 4-wheel vented-disc ABS brakes, and steel or aluminum wheels in 17, 18, or 20-inch sizes. Styled for action and hard work, the Lariat model is the one of luxury, while the King Ranch super duty F-250 features leather interiors inspired by the horse-and-saddle world. Optional accessories include cable lock, bug shield, splash guards, 5th wheel hitch kit, gooseneck hitch kit, PowerCode remote start, in-dash computer, CrewChief tracking, DEWALT Tool Link, bed mat, or a roll-up tonneau cover.
