The Chevrolet Camero is manufactured by General Motors. It is known as a pony car" or a "muscle car". The Camero is available as a 2-door coupe or a 2-door convertible. The LS and LT series are 6-speed manual transmissions and the SS series has a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Chevrolet Camero has been known for decades as a superior racing car, leading many racing pros to victory. The fifth generation of the Camero was released in 2010.

The fifth generation Chevrolet Camero was designed by Sangyup Lee and assembled in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. The LS and LT series are powered by the 3.6 L GM LLT V6, supplying 304 horsepower at 6400 rpm. The SS with automatic transmission is powered by a new type of the LS3 called the GM L99, which supplies 400 horsepower at 5900 rpm, while the SS with manual transmission is powered by the 6.2 L GM LS3 V8, turning out 426 horsepower at 5900 rpm. The first generation of Camero was produced from 1967 to 1969. It featured new rear-wheel drive. The second generation was produced from 1970-1981. The choice of convertible top was taken away and the car was lower, wider, and longer than the first generation. From 1982-1992, the third generation was available. This Camero was the first to have factory fuel injection, 4-cylinder engines, 4-speed automatic transmissions, 5-speed manual transmissions, and hatchback bodies. Finally, the fourth generation, produced from 1993-1992, went retro and offered the same options as the first generation. Its slow sales led to the need for a fifth generation.

The interior of the Chevrolet Camero is fit for a king. The font seats are sport bucket. It includes an AM/PM radio with MP3 and CD playback. Consumers also have the option of black, grey, beige, or inferno orange leather-appointed front seats. Exterior options include several stripe packages and optional sunroof, which is very popular.

The fifth generation Chevrolet Camero has won several awards. It was the 2010 Driver's Choice from Motor Trend. It was awarded the World Car Design of the Year at the 2010 World Car of the Year Awards. Consumers Digest called it a "Best Buy". Ward's awarded it with the 2010 Interior of the Year in the sports car class. Kelly Blue Book gave it the 2010 Best Resale Value Award.
