Parts and Accessories on eBay Motors

Workspaces & Tools  /   /  By Chad Tyson

eBay is the world’s largest parts warehouse/swap meet/garage sale with many sellers, rebuilders and manufacturers offering everything to keep your car on the road and looking good. In this part of the series, we’ll examine the different systems of your cars and highlight the newest and best parts and accessories on eBay Motors. We’ll also include tips on maintenance and parts selection.

I recently bought a 1967 Chevrolet Impala 4-door hard top on eBay Motors. It is a running and driving project, and I’m using parts and accessories from eBay Motors to make her ride smooth and a joy to drive. The sale was a smoking good deal at $4,000 all in with shipping. Because of the deal, I have a little coin left over for fun parts. I’m getting ready for more upgrades, such as a power disc-brake conversion, new headliner, and a new — but visually understated — sound system. And those are just a few of the things I’m prioritizing right now.

I’m not the only one in the office who picked up something from eBay recently. Sports Car Market’s Executive Editor, Chester Allen, bought a rack for his 2008 Subaru Outback. No doubt it’s to help haul his surfboards to Oregon’s Cannon Beach or his fly-fishing gear everywhere in the Pacific Northwest in search of cutthroat and rainbow trout.

The parts and accessories available are more varied than the rides they’re meant for. And the whole point is to put your own spin on your car. We’ll be here to help you along in your search.

I used eBay Parts and Accessories to restore my 1984 Corvette. It saved me a ton of money and it’s a great place to shop. I’ve also bought parts for my 2000 Yukon XL from eBay as well. It’s the best Warehouse in Texas.

Great to hear Michael! Do you have any photos of your Z/28 that you could show us? We’d love to feature it here on the eBay Motors Blog. Our email address is ebaymotors (at) ebay.com.

While eBay is a great way to restore or keep running some (most! 😉 ) of my vehicle it has also been my main source of parts for a power wheel truck I’m building for the kids! Still a few parts and a few month away, but we’ll ge there eventually. Tonight, I was actually looking for red and amber lights to put on it.

      Loic,

That is great to hear. What truck is this that we’re helping you with exactly? Year/Make/Model would be helpful!

First year, nice. What engine/trans combo does it have?

I buy, nowhere near as much as I used to nor as much as I would like to.

I sell, nowhere near as much as I used to nor as much as I would like to.

I do appreciate the fact that at least lately one has not had to wade thru 50,000 spam car cover listings, while browsing vintage.

      Johnny,

What do you typically buy and/or sell on eBay Motors?
