140,000 spectators are expected over three days for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix. The 2012 season has reached its halfway point and the race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca marks the second part of the season, which will decide one of the most disputed MotoGP™ titles in recent years. This will be the 14th time the MotoGP field is set to race at the track, which is the shortest on the Grand Prix calendar. The circuit is known in particular for its infamous corner “The Corkscrew”, which is a challenge for the riders and their machinery, as well as an absolute viewing pleasure for spectators.

The Moto2™ and Moto3™ classes will no be racing at this weekend’s event.

We roamed the paddock and expo area of Laguna Seca and walked away with a few photos…
