McLaren P1 Details Revealed Ahead of Geneva Auto Show

McLaren announces the performance specs of the McLaren P1 before its official debut at the Geneva Auto Show which commences March 7 – 17.

0 – 62 mph in less than 3 seconds
0 – 124 mph (0-200 kmh) in less than 7 seconds
0 – 186 mph ( 0-300 kmh) in 17 seconds, 5 seconds quicker than McLaren F1
Electronically limited top speed = 218 mph (350 kmh)

903 bhp rear-wheel drive supercar
A mid-mounted 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine enhanced with larger turbochargers and a highly effective electric motor, to give a combined output of 916PS (903 bhp) and a maximum torque figure of 900Nm.

Tires: Pirelli P Zero Corsas developed specifically for the McLaren P1
Brakes: matches braking performance of GT3 race car with Akebono carbon ceramic disc previously used in space, but never before used on a road car

Price: £866,000 or $1.3M ($1,310,951 at today’s exchange rate)
Limited production strictly limited to 375 units
