Jeep JK Wrangler With a Vengeance

Classics, SUVs  /   /  By Derek Mau

Almost one year ago, a silver Jeep JK Wrangler began its transformation into a no-limits, stretched out beast known as, VENGEANCE. Originally owned by a senior moderator and one of the first members of, this 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler Sahara started as humble project under the wing of Ken Offerbeck (aka HappyCurmudgeon).

Ken Offerbeck and daughter Mackenzie

Tragically, Ken lost his battle with an aggressive form of sarcoma cancer. In support of Ken’s family and in recognition of his contributions, the senior editor of and adminstrator bought the JK and enlisted the help of some notable contributors such as Mel Wade and the Off Road Evolution crew. The complete list of generous hearts and hands is below.

Now that the build is complete, the transformed JK is being auctioned on eBay with the 100% of the proceeds going towards a college plan for Ken’s daughter, Mackenzie.
