2007 Mercedes-Benz GL450

Classics  /   /  By Tony Piff

There isn’t a compromise to be found in the Mercedes-Benz GL450. It’s a full-size SUV with three rows of seats and seating for seven, true off-road performance cred, sports-car acceleration, and opulent, blingin’ finishes on every surface. It’s the SUV I’d buy right now for cruising the kids to the country club, or just slow cruising to the downtown nightclub.

This 2007 GL450 looks fabulous in Palladium Silver over Palomino leather interior, and stands out in stark relief from the leagues of black-on-black examples. The 4.7-liter “4Matic” V8 makes 335 hp and will move the car’s substantial 5,468-lb curb weight to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds.

The $43k buy-it-now price looks very reasonable, especially considering the mileage: 40,321.
