1979 Chevrolet G20 Van

Classics, Movies & Television  /   /  By Tony Piff

Who says you can’t take the party with you? With a custom ’70s van like this, you’ll become the grooviest guy you know. Features include custom serpentine snakeskin graphics over brown paint outside, full wood paneling inside, simulated wood ceiling beams, brown-and-white upholstery, and even stained glass.

The eye-catching exterior will attract constant attention, but no worries—just draw the shades and get the party started. The seller states that the van will “seat 10 people comfortably.”

Partytime features here include leather-trimmed fridge, bar, wall-sconce mood lamps, and dual captain’s chairs. The table and bench seats convert to a full-size bed that easily sleeps two (or three!). The working 8-track stereo with wall-mount speakers will play all your Doobie Brothers albums as well. Also shown is what appears to be a 12-inch CRT television with antenna, not installed. And to top it off, it’s C.B. radio-equipped, good buddy.

The van is said to have always been garage-kept and never driven in winter, with “NO RUST ANYWHERE!” The stock, original drivetrain “runs great & shifts smooth” and “doesn’t burn any oil or leak anything.”

The van craze of the ’70s was short lived, and while these used to be everywhere, now they’re downright rare. This one looks incredibly well preserved. Check out the listing here.

This van is HOT… You can’t purchase a van like that everyday… PRICELESS!
The fun you can have in that van could take away the boring day to day lives we get stuck in… I just may have to buy it!

I think that Ashton Kutcher should purchase this van and use it on “That 70’s show” or put it in his garage for some good conversation!
