Decorated Ostrich Egg Needs to be Repaired & Finished
Here's a nice "Bird" Themed Decorated Ostrich Egg! The egg has some lovely decoration, and has been 'cut' so it opens. The outside has been decorated with strings of Pearls, Rhinestones, and Gold Braided Ribbon. This was never finished, and was supposed to be decorated with a bird inside of the egg. BUT... the is damaged, and will need to be repaired or replaced. At the very least, you can use the decorations on this for a different project.
This decorated egg stands about 6 1/2" Tall, and came from a closed Arts & Crafts store. It was probably started in the 1960's or 70's, although that's only a guess, and I could be off a decade on either side. The decorations are all in very nice shape, but the EGG itself IS Cracked! Still a great project to repair, or for the pieces! (The parts alone are worth more than the LOW price!)
