Auto Air Colors™ are premium water-based custom paints developed by a leading manufacturer who has over twenty-five years experience in waterborne coatings technologies.

Auto Air Colors™ work well for graphics over existing finishes and for complete paintjobs. Colors are intermixable for a limitless palate of colors & effects not possible with other paint systems. It clears with any automotive clear coat for a beautiful, durable finish.

Auto Air Colors™ has over 200 brilliant and durable colors and effects, all of which are intermixable for endless color creations.

Auto-Air Colors are Water-Based Custom Automotive Paint








Auto-Air Colors has over 200 brilliant and durable colors and effects, all of which are intermixable for endless color creations.

Colors include: Pearls, Pearl-Flakes, Metal-Flake, Metallics, Chameleons, Chameleon-Pearl Flakes, Candys, Iridescent and More.
Sizes Available: 4oz, 16oz, 32oz and Gallon.

Auto-Air Colors are typically used for complete paintjobs, graphics onto existing finishes or for intermixing with urethane paintjobs.
Auto-Air Colors are compatible with all urethane products allowing them to work with all urethane paint systems. Auto Air Colors are the perfect compliment to other paint systems which lack custom color options.

Auto-Air Colors are ready to spray out of the bottle without the need for mixing a catalyst or reducer. Colors may be thinned with Auto Air Reducer to achieve a lower viscosity when spraying with an airbrush. Auto Air Colors do not have a limited pot life during use and their storage life exceeds 2 years.

Auto Air Colors do not have time windows. They may be top-coated with a urethane clear at any time after they’ve cured no matter how long the time period between painting and clearing there is. Auto Air Colors are compatible with all urethane clears.

Auto Air Colors are lightfast and durable. They contain less than 0.1% V.O.C. and have been tested according to industry-wide accepted standards for fade resistance and durability.

Auto-Air Product Series Usage Overview

Series 4000 Sealers, Additives, Cleaner

Base Coat Sealers - sealer primers.Transparent Base - colorless binder used for increasing colors’ transparency (for example when painting fades) and as an inter-coat.
Reducers - used to decrease colors’ viscosity and increases colors transparency
Restorer – an awesome cleaner used as a soaking bath to dislodge dried paint.
Series 4100 Aluminum Bases
Aluminum Bases – highly reflective properties. Makes excellent bases for 4200 Series Transparent Colors and 4600 Series Candy Colors.
Series 4200 Graphic Colors

Semi-Opaque Colors – primary, secondary and tertiary base colors with opacity.
Transparent Colors - primary, secondary and tertiary colors without opacity.Fluorescent Colors – neon colors which fluoresce. These colors will fade quickly.
Series 4300 Special FX Colors

Pearlescent Colors – Shimmering bases
Metallic Colors – reflective base colors made with tinted mica-flake. Metallic Colors are more reflective than the Pearlescent Colors and make excellent bases for the 4600 Series Candy Colors.
 Iridescent Colors – pearlescent colors with a distinct shift through the color’s hue from its side-view to direct-view.
Series 4400 Color Shift FX

Gem Color-Shift Colors – color-shift pearl-flakes in a transparent base. Traditionally applied over black or other color-keyed bases.
Flair Color-Shift Colors – chameleon colors traditionally applied over black.
Hi-Lite Interference Colors – color shift flakes in a transparent base which shift from the respective color to nothing. Work excellent for accents and subtle, ghosted effects.
Series 4500 Sparkle Colors

Hot Rod Sparkle Colors – large pearl-flakes in a transparent base. Traditionally applied over a black base or with other color-keyed bases.
Cosmic Sparkle Colors – mini pearl-flakes in a transparent base. Traditionally applied over a black base or with other color-keyed bases.
Sparkle Flake – metal-flake premixed in a transparent base and applied as base coat paint. Work excellent when two or more colors are inter-mixed for incredible depth.
Sparklescent Colors – incredible candied-pearl colors with pearl flakes and chameleon pearl-flakes for beautiful color shifts from the side-view to direct view. Traditionally applied over a white base.
Series 4600 Candy Colors
Candy Colors - Brilliant intermixable colors allow unlimited mixing and custom possibilities. Amazing effects can be achieved especially when using 4100 & 4300 Series as a base. Mix 4500 Series direct with Candy Colors for metal-flake candied colors.
