Columbus [Ohio]: : Samuel Medary, printer to the state.,1842. 8 1/4" x 5 1/2" in contemporary marbled boards and 1/2 leather. Leather worn and rubbed, including joints, but a solid binding and overall a Good example of this Columbus, Ohio imprint. With the early ownership signature a couple of times of "J.H. Bryson," and with his primitive hand stamp 3 times on the front free endpaper. Much detail here on the legislative activity of the day - particularly as it related to the budget, finance, and the banks.
