Other Ideas for using your COOKIE CUTTERS:
1) Trace around them (like a stencil) on construction paper and let toddlers decorate.
Teach older children how to trace around cookie cutter
Then cut-out and decorate with such things as sequins, pens, buttons, etc.
2)Play-dough!!
3)Make "real" mud pies, let dry and paint them.
4)Use foil wrap around cookie cutter, leaving top open. If the cookie cutter could go in the oven you could let your children melt crayons in it and have one big crayon with many colors.
5)Place cookie cutter in terra cotta pots, grow grass in the shape of cookie cutter, kids will have their own grass pets and give it "hair cuts"
6)Make puzzle sandwiches. Cut the center of the sandwich out with a fun shape.
