This is a Genuine Hand Cut Australian OPAL TRIPLET, not a doublet or solid opal, it comes from the famous opal mines of Coober Pedy, this opal triplet has not been dyed or treated in any way.

Dark bodied opal has subtle coloring in normal lighting so I highly recommend that when you receive your opal you view it in bright lighting or sunlight to reveal its full fire and brilliance.
