1 - Smackdown: Shut your Mouth

Of course, SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth continues the tradition of offering numerous different match types. The exhibition mode features the basic single and tag team matches, as well as the six man tag, handicap, royal rumble, king of the ring, hardcore, special, and survival options. The hardcore matches are particularly entertaining, as they can take place in a variety of different locations around the arena, such as the locker room, the VIP room, the parking lot, the rotunda, or the sidewalks outside, where traffic steadily flows by as you pummel your opponent. But if you're feeling even more adventurous than that, you can also bring the fight into a subway station complete with operating trains, inside the WWE restaurant known as The World, or into the streets of Times Square. You can choose to start a hardcore match in any of these locations, but what makes this mode especially entertaining is the fact that all these areas are connected, so you can travel between them over the course of the match. Almost all these areas contain plenty of weapons to use on your opponent, including steel chairs, foam hands, rattan canes, and even functional fire extinguishers. It's also worth noting that the royal rumble in SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth comes closer to resembling the actual event by starting it with only two wrestlers and then having an additional wrestler come in every 15 seconds or so (to keep the action brisk), although the game can only support up to six wrestlers in the ring at once.

In any case, each of these match types can be configured in a number of ways. For example, you can choose to add a tornado tag, tornado six-man tag, triple threat, fatal four way, or time limit dimension to any hardcore match. Likewise, if you select the survival match, you can change it into a four-, five-, or six-man battle royal. Some of the other match types have more basic secondary options, such as the single match, which only allows you to decide if you want to walk out with a manger or not. Most of these matches will keep you busy, but those looking for some of the more bizarre WWE match types won't be disappointed to find that there are plenty of those as well.

The exhibition mode's special option features matches that are essentially based on gimmicks. You can test your wrestling skills in steel cage, elimination, hell in a cell, I quit, ironman, ladder, last man standing, lumberjack, slobber knocker, special referee, street fight, submission, table, three stages of hell, and TLC (tables, ladders, and chairs) matches. The ladder and TLC matches are perhaps the most entertaining of all the options in the special match menu, simply because they can be so chaotic and tense. The object of these matches is to grab a belt that has been suspended from the ceiling. When you see an opponent climbing the ladder and reaching for the belt, you can either try to knock the ladder down or meet that wrestler at the top of the ladder to prevent him or her from snatching it. In Shut your Mouth, wrestlers can now grab onto and swing from the belt if they have the ladder knocked out from under them, which adds even more excitement to the proceedings.

2 - Smackdown: Just Bring It

WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It has much of the SmackDown! 2 formula intact. The greatest Superstars of the WWF make up the cast, 36 of whom are available from the start, with more to unlock in the story mode. Wrestlers still have the ability to run, use weaponry, and perform a wide variety of strikes and grapple maneuvers. The key to success with the grappling system once again relies on timing and the proper gauging of distance between your wrestler and the opponent. Either you'll grab the opponent and perform your move, or you'll catch empty air, opening your defenses up to a retaliatory maneuver. Rounding out your abilities is the counter, which can be used to block and return punches, slide between your opponent's legs, leapfrog during a run, or reverse certain grapple attempts. Nailing moves on an opponent will generate momentum, which then powers finishing moves. The more fatigued an opponent is, the longer he'll stay down, and finishers just about guarantee a pin fall.

SmackDown! Just Bring It looks like and controls nearly identically to SmackDown! 2, albeit with a few key changes in certain areas. In addition to the standing and dizzy grapple moves, a new set has been added for when the opponent is picked up into a clinch. Each wrestler now has a pair of finishing moves, though wrestlers with only one finisher to choose from, like Stone Cold and his Stunner or Triple H and his Pedigree, are instead treated to a slightly different animation of the wrestler's one finisher. Another key change is JBI's use of a referee in the ring, notably Earl Hebner. Earl can be attacked during the course of a match and will then play favorites, but how he actually enforces the rules is most impressive. In previous wrestling games, when you would choose to interfere in a tag team match on your partner's behalf, a certain amount of time would pass and you would automatically return to your corner. Earl will now physically restrain you and through a series of gestures will explain how you need to get out of the ring, or else. He'll clap his hands, point at the corner, and even give you a shove or punch to prove his point. Adding even more to the new features is the ability to take the fight into the stands, where the crowd, made up of moving two-dimensional standees, will move aside and watch the fight from a safe distance. The contrast between the realistic wrestlers and the comically poor-looking audience makes you think that this feature should have been held off until technology can support interactive, three-dimensional crowds.

3 - All-Star Baseball 2003 (PS2) Works Great!!! Very Fun!!

Franchise mode allows users to play as and build their favorite teams for up to 20 consecutive seasons. 4 - All-Star Baseball 2004 (PS2) Works Great! Fun!!

All-Star Baseball certainly lives up to its name. It offers the largest stable of former greats, some 50 in all, and it even offers many of the standouts and stars from the old Negro Baseball League. Its obvious Acclaim decided the best way to deal with the competition is to match it in terms of baseball prowess, but at the same time, outdo them in terms of extras: All-Star throws shovel fulls of extras. Extras like a trivia game, stadium tours, and DVD content. It even includes classic ballparks, just in case you really miss Shibe Park. There are seven fantasy ballparks in currently baseball-free North American cities, and you can pick and choose from over 30 mascots, making the expansion team options all the more interesting. All-Star also offers a deep franchise mode that rivals text simulations like Over the Top Baseball.

Baseball lives and dies by the pitcher/batter duel and All-Star has you covered here. How? By offering every option the competition can muster. You can use a cursor system (like MVP Baseball), a timing based system (less realistic, but good for new players), and a system like High Heat where you have to watch the ball carefully (most realistic). Each system works but the cursor-based option could is sub par: the information regarding where and when to swing appears too late. The gameplay has other flaws. Fielding feels soft, unresponsive and slow, and the AI is stupidly aggressive at times: stealing when it shouldn't and slugging when a sacrifice is called for.

All-Star has good graphics--not the best available but very good and the animations are all smooth and lifelike. You can even identify many players by their batting stance alone. The audio is a standout, specifically the commentary, which is accurate, insightful, and even includes entertaining side conversations about the rules and quirks of the game.

All-Star isn't quite the best baseball game you can buy for your console system, but it offers the best overall package if you aren't sure what you want. Good gameplay, good graphics, lots of options and extras, and a nice range of hitting options. Play ball!--Andrew S. Bub

  • Nice range of pitching/batting options
  • Good graphics
  • Terrific Audio

5 - ATV: Offroad Fury (PS2) Works great!! Fun!!!

Imagine insane jumps, wild off-road courses, and crazy stunts that could only be performed in the make-believe world of video games. Add to that the power of the PlayStation2 system, and you have all the ingredients of an arcade classic racing title on the PS2.

The physics in ATV Offroad Fury are absolutely incredible. Drivers and ATVs react accordingly as they hit the ground, and other riders need to be wary when someone takes a wipeout--one fall on these tight courses can send a shockwave of collisions through the pack.

The game provides arcade-style controls, which fit perfectly with the best aspects of the game. ATV Offroad Fury is one game that is best played with friends, as the artificial intelligence is unrealistically consistent. If you mess up, computer-controlled riders slow down to offer you a chance to get back into things. It does not seem to matter how poorly a player does for the first three laps of a five-lap race. If no mistakes are made in the final two laps, the computer opponents are easily overtaken.

The tracks are separated into three distinct groups: indoors, outdoors, and freestyle. The indoor tracks are fairly similar, as they are the same type of supercross tracks that you would see in a motocross game. The outdoor tracks, however, show much more variety in their terrains and backgrounds. From lush forests to harsh deserts all the way to snow-covered tundra, every track provides a different experience. The game's sound is merely decent; hearing those high-pitched engines at full throttle for too long begins to sound like you are being chased by a pack of killer bees.

Overall, ATV is a solid game that most everyone will want to try. The multiplayer mode really makes for a great party game, not only for its earnest competitiveness, but also for the entertainment value of the crashes and lunatic jumps and stunts.

Just game only, no case & manual. We protect the game very carefully.

6 - Crash Tag Team Racing VERY FUN!! with manual (PS2)

After being humiliated yet again by Crash Bandicoot at the end of Crash Twinsanity, Cortex returns to his evil scheming in his dilapidated Iceberg Lair. He stumbles across a newspaper article regarding the closure of Ebeneezer Von Clutch's condemned racing arena. He hatches a sinister plan to challenge Crash to a seemingly friendly race competition... with plans of crushing the hapless bandicoot under the ruins of the hazardous racetrack! Will the evil doctor's plans be the end of our furry hero?

In Crash Tag Team Racing, players can "clash" their car with an opponent's mid-race to make a super-car equipped with a powerful turret gun. When clashed, players can either get behind the wheel and drive, or fire an onboard weapon. Each character has his or her own uniquely deadly 360-degree rotating turret. Players can continue the action out of the car where they can explore the entire world on foot and collect upgrades for their cars and unlock bonus tracks. Clashing means to combine or morph your 2 vehicles together!

Crash Tag Team Racing combines a vehicular combat and racing game with the wild fun of a Crash Bandicoot game! Cortex hatches an evil, overly-complex plan to challenge Crach to a seemingly-friendly race at a condemned theme park... with plans of destroying the hapless bandicoot once and for all.

8-  Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PS2) with poster

comes with original case & manual

As a return to Liberty City, the New York-themed locale first made famous back in Grand Theft Auto III, Liberty City Stories is all about retreading through well-worn territory. If you still remember the streets of Liberty City, you'll see plenty of the same spots here. But as a game that was designed for the less powerful PSP, you'll probably notice that Liberty City Stories is much smaller in scope than what we've seen in the series more recently. Missions, which grew to epic proportions in San Andreas, are much shorter and feel pretty meaningless in LCS. There are plenty of moments where you'll complete a mission and immediately think, "Well, at least I'll never have to do that again." The story, however, is the biggest casualty.

Liberty City Stories tells the tale of one Toni Cipriani, a regular-type mob guy who did a good deed for the head of the Leone crime family, Salvatore Leone. Toni had to go away for awhile, but the heat's died down, and he's back on the job in Liberty City, maintaining his loyalty to Sal while wiping out the family's enemies in droves along the way. As you ascend to become Salvatore's right-hand man, you'll start and finish gang wars with other mafia types, a few triads, the yakuza...pretty much all of the usual suspects are present.

9 - Jak 2 (PS2) Works Great!! Very Fun!!

Enjoy the use of up to 4 powerful weapons and a unique hoverboard with unbridled freedom. Hop into any parked vehicles that you find and travel across haven City. Use these items and skills anytime and anywhere in the world, and switch seamlessly between them. Experience innovative technology and incredibly intelligent AI, allowing for not only smarter enemies with dozens of unique animations, but also for the possibility to fight alongside NPCs during certain missions. When you collect enough of the purple dots, you can unleash your Dark Jak! More than one hour of movie quality in-game cinematics, top-notch voice talent and a dynamic musical score.

10 - Spider-Man 2 (PlayStation 2) Works Great!! Awesome Game

The follow-up to the blockbuster Spider-Man movie brings with it a follow-up to the blockbuster game, Spider-Man: The Movie. The menacing Dr. Octopus has put New York City in crisis again, but the webslinger is older, wiser and more in command of his powers now. In keeping with the more in-control Spider-Man, the game's controls have been beefed up considerably to allow never-before-seen moves and amazing agility in a fully-explorable 3D world that takes the popular "sandbox" concept of games like Tony Hawk's Underground and GTA and allows Spidey to take on missions and challenges all across the city as he and his spider-senses see best. You can also upgrades and get new moves from the store.

Awesome game!!

Comes with a cardboard case, no Front and back page, & No manual
