Up for sale is a vintage 14" Japanese Geisha doll on a round wood base. Bottom of the base has the remnant of a gold foil sticker that appears to say "...public of China" - so it appears this doll was manufactured in China (maybe Taiwan?). Tape pieces on underneath the round wood base. She has a stuffed body with cloth hands. She has was looks like a sockette face that is painted with a molded nose. Gens in her ears and in her hairdo. She is wearing a beautiful gown - which appears to be silk or similar. Her hair is in good condition with a few fly aways - long ponytail in the back. She is in very good condition with no stains or rips in her clothes - and a very slight stray mark above her right eyebrow.
Very pretty doll that will make a great addition to any collection.
