Description: 1974 Rickenbacker 450 Electric Guitar in Trans Red Finish Condition: Various surface scratches and dings on top. Moderate buckle rash on back with two holes from bridge modification (holes are poorly filled). Pickguard has been routed to fit a previously installed bridge. Fingerboard has two large chips in the fourth fret; otherwise shows no play wear. Original electronics in perfect working condition. Body: Three piece maple body in original Trans Red finish. Original tailpiece and pickguard. Neck: Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, white dot inlays, and a 1 10/16" nut width. Original Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 24" scale length. Pickups/Electronics: Original single coil "toaster Top" pickups with dual volume and tone controls, and a 3-way pickup selector switch. Neck: 7.33K Ohms. Bridge: 7.16K Ohms. Set Up: Professionally set up by our guitar tech with D'Addario .010 - .046 gauge round wound strings. Weight: 6lbs 8.5oz. Playability/Sound: The scale length and great action make this a very easy to play instrument. The pickups offer all the bright jangle and warm sounds Rickenbacker is known for. Case: Includes non-original hard shell case.
