This is one of the toughest FB sets out there!
Welcome to this amazing auction. If you are a collector of rare and unusual football sets, you know of this one, but likely never have seen one.
Issued in 1960 through regional 7-Eleven stores, few of these cards still exist. We have recognized just two lots/near sets up for auction in the last 5 years. Only an occasional single is found on eBay. These typically run in the $250-300 range, in mid to low-grade condition. Anything above a 6 can command premium prices.
Rare is often an over-used term in the auction business. This is one time where that word truly applies.
Price guide have listed this set as including 11 cards. But Beckett Media has never documented an actual #10 Paul Miller. And after extensive research, it was only recently removed from the checklist. None of the sets or lot sales that have been documented in the last ten years included that card. If you can prove it does exist, PLEASE report it to Beckett Media immediately.
Until then, we will call this 10 card lot a set (or near set).
These 10 cards grade out at an average 5.5 (EX+) The high grade is a 7, the low a 3.5. SEVEN of the cards are 5.5 or better.

This beautiful set will be sent to the winning bidder via USPS REGISTERED INSURED. The shipping fees for this auction is $16.99. If you want these shipped another way, we can work with you on that.
