This is an F1 Racing Xtreme clutch kit featuring ACT heavy-duty pressure plate for those who seeks an ultimate street/strip set up. F1 Racing and ACT are leading high performance clutch and flywheel manufacturer for the Sport Compact, Domestic and Truck markets. For over 11 years,ACT has focused on quality, service and performance to deliver an unparalleled product. ACT heavy-duty pressure plate is manufactured from new unit, not rebuilt from worn out part. Proper geometry is maintained for long clutch life through a reliable single diaphragm design. F1 Racing street disc is constructed with heavy-duty material and reduced marcel for faster shift action to compliment ACT pressure plate. Spring center construction properly dampens torsional vibrations for quieter operation and center hub springs help lessen the drive train shock and impact. It also increases heat tolerance which helps prevent warping of mating surfaces. The clutch requires 500 mile break-in periods. Actual item may differ from the picture below.
Fidanza Aluminum Flywheels are made using the highest quality, most modern materials available. The flywheel itself is made from 6061 T6 billet aluminum. It is CNC machined at a constant surface speed for durability and finish. The friction surface is very special. Fidanza uses a 1050 high carbon, alloy steel. It is incredibly durable, allowing the user to use just about any clutch disc material available. The friction plate can be machined or replaced as needed. The plates are secured with 16-20 hardened aircraft quality screws with self locking nuts which prevent any warping. Fidanza uses hardened ring gears that are swarted to the flywheel with button head screws that are counter board between the flywheel and ring gear to prevent any possible slippage. The mass at the center of the flywheel is retained for strength, but the mass at the outside is eliminated for optimum performance.
