Unique Collector Doll dressed as a shopper of the famous, but now closed, Dayton's Department Store chain of Minnesota.  This doll was made by the Effanbee Doll Co.  The mold was cast from an original compostion "Patsy Joan" made by Effanbee in 1946.  This replica is hand cast in a specialy formulated collector quality hard vinyl.  This limited edition was designed and made exclusively for Dayton's-Hudson's-Marshall Field in 1997.  This version has Patsy wearing a green gingham checked dress and panties, dark green coat, cloth handbag, shoes and socks.  Her hat is a dark green beret with "Dayton's" embroidered on the rim.  A gold colored metal heart on a chain, "Effanbee Durable Dolls" is included.  A certificate of authenticity is included along with a doll stand.  This doll is in excellent condition and has never been removed from the box.
