Vintage set of 2 Gorham Sterling Silver Candelabra, Buttercup #987, 3-cup pair 

This auction is for a beautiful PAIR of vintage Gorham sterling silver candelabra.  This is elegant entertaining at its best!  The pattern is Buttercup and #987.  These 3-cup candelabras are 13 inches high when fully extended.  One of the amazing things about this gorgeous set is that it is extremely versatile!  It can be short with one candle holder or screw on the extention and the 3-cup candle holder and get a completely different height and look.  The third picture shows the different parts of one complete piece.  The 'sit right' so they aren't crooked when displayed.  The pair is in EXCELLENT condition. 
The Buttercup pattern is detailed, exquisite, and delicately beautiful!  This pair of candelabras will be perfect for the collector or for the person who appreciates very fine things!  A gorgeous center piece for your next dinner party and all the ones in the future.  Or if your power goes out.......  :-)

This set has been in my family for years.  The two generations before me were more into the elegant social entertaining than I will ever be.  I hope this goes to someone who will appreciate its beauty and value.
