This is a very nice substantial old silver Open Faced Pocket Watch The totally anonimous fusee movement has a white Face that is free from hairline cracks and very bold black Roman Numerals and gold colour Hands, Winding with the Key that is supplied, it occasionally slips, (but does hold a full wind of the chain) The Fusee movement runs strongly for at leat 24 hrs before needing winding and keeps good time, The Pocket Watch Case is in excelelent condition, all catches and hinges operating correctly and is prominently silver hallmarked for Chester 1889 and Silversmith TC and IJTN on internal surfaces, It measures just over 2.125 inches diameter excluding the Crown and Loop. please excuse the shadows and reflections in the pictures |
